Croatia: By Boat

We are in the business of curating highly tailored and special experiences around the globe.  Through my own travels as well as yours, I have come to learn and appreciate that perhaps the epitome of luxury, and to truly take time away from the pressures of everyday life means channeling a very special ingredient – spontaneity.

A private yacht charter is not only a wonderful way to see the world, but it is also a great way to serve spontaneity, and experience true luxury.

Do think about recruiting some friends or family to travel with you. Boat charter is certainly a more premium experience but may be more accessible than you think when shared.

Fees include the base charter/vessel fee, the APA or Advanced Provisioning Allowance,  which is paid ahead of time and held by the captain to cover incidentals like fuel, docking fees, food, and beverages, etc. and finally, the crew gratuity.

Do plan to embark on the boat and quite literally “switch off”.  We had a wonderful crew of 5 taking care of our every need.

Do lean on us for the big picture planning but know that you have the ability to change course as your plans or moods take you.  Dinner on board or on land.  Impromptu wine tour and tasting whilst the kids stay on board and take a treasure hunt with the crew.  White or Rose? Branzino or Lamb?  Paddle Board or Sea Bob?  They may be the toughest decisions and the most mental energy you need to exert.

Think about a yacht charter for a destination like Croatia or The Bahamas – with loads of coastline and somewhere difficult to reach without a boat.

Croatia is not so much a place to see and be seen – but rather, get off the grid and enjoy the pristine natural beauty and amazing coastline and landscapes.  Our charter was one week from Dubrovnik to Split with one night spent on land on either side of our boat itinerary.
